Yoga has transformed my life...
It was slow, but it has happened. I practiced casually because it was something I 'should' do to help prevent injury from marathon training.  Then about 7 years ago, I became a teacher of yoga.
It wasn't until more recently when I experienced a major life transition that I found yoga to be my home.  When I was lost I found peace and courage in the physical and spiritual practice of yoga.  I continued my yoga journey with a yoga retreat in Costa Rica and 200 hour yoga teacher training with Community Soul Yoga in Wausau.  This journey has brought a deeper awareness and appreciation of the physical, emotional and spiritual practice of yoga.  I want to share this with all who come to the studio.

I am so grateful for all the wonderful people in my life, especially those who love me and those who trust me to guide them in their yoga practice.

A few of my playlist favorites today: Days Like This, Fly, Carry You Home, Perfect Storm

Courageous, Resilient, Powerful, Loving

Teri Heinzen

I am carefree, and have a fly by the seat of my pants mentality for life!  I enjoy running, biking, and anything that has to do with water and my children.  Yoga has transformed my life so profoundly, and has helped me through many of life's pitfalls and challenges.
I received by RYT200 from Swastha Yoga in Costa Rica.
While I am not teaching yoga, I am a licensed social worker with the Medford School District, and a mom to very spunky children.

Cynthia Nelson

Cynthia Nelson is sweet free-spirit whose classes are powerful, playful and heartfelt! She enjoys backpacking and hiking, random yoga poses, and singing along to Fleetwood Mac. She loves yoga because it makes her feel good and allows her to nachos and cheese. Just kidding, but mostly serious. Yoga has healed her from the inside out. She credits her recovery process from a life long battle with an eating disorder to Yoga. Her favorite place is anywhere people are gathered to sweat, breathe and break boundaries together. She is a certified 200hr teacher. When not teaching yoga, she is a registered nurse and a mom to 3 beautiful boys.
Yin yoga practice is slow, quiet, and meditative - designed to assist us in feeling our bodies and feeling our yoga.  Most of the poses are seated hip openers designed to mobilize and maintain healthy range of motion in the hip joints.  Shoulders, spine, and hamstrings are included as designed.
Restorative yoga is focused on relaxing the nervous system.  The majority of the restorative poses are practiced lying on your back or side, supported by props for extended periods of time.

Essential oils and hands on assists included!
