Weekend Yoga

Every Saturday and Sunday

Kristine Beathard

Kristine Beathard instructs the following:
  • Power to Deep
  • Half of the time is Power followed by Deep. The best of both worlds combine to make this class a must!
Start the class off with Power Vinyasa Flow to warm up and build strength. End the class with deep stretches held for 3-5 minutes.

  • Sound Bath and Restore
  • Restorative yoga is a restful yoga practice that is all about slowing down and opening your body through passive stretching. During a restorative yoga class, you will utilize many props (blankets, bolsters, straps, wall, etc) to create a very relaxing expression of the pose. You will hold these passive poses for an extended period of time, therefore, you may do just a few postures over the course of the class.

    Benefits of sound bowls :
    -Significantly reduces stress and anxiety
    -Stimulates the immune system
-Assists with lowering blood pressure and anger
    -Deep relaxation and pain relief
    -Chakra cleansing and balancing
    -Increases mental and emotional clarity.

  • Deep with Sound Bowls
  • Deep stretch class is a time to slow down and get deep into your connective tissue in your body. This
class is taught at a slow pace and will focus on breathing and meditative state. Generally there will be no
standing postures and you will be using gravity to deepen your variation of the pose.

    Benefits of sound bowls :
    • Significantly reduces stress and anxiety
    • Stimulates the immune system
    • Assists with lowering blood pressure and anger
    • Deep relaxation and pain relief
    • Chakra cleasing and balancing
    • Increases mental and emotional clarity.
I have personally witnessed people simply melting into a state of beingness when they begin to hear the
sound of the crystal bowls. This sound helps slow down, and allows them to actually notice what's been
    going on in their heads.
