Vinyasa Flow
This class is taught by:
Helen Brown
I have enjoyed leading people in movement for many years. I have been certified in Yoga, Pilates, TurboKick, PiYo, Personal Training, CPR, and others because I am committed to strength, movement, flexibility, and health. I am motivated to help others find their favorite form of exercise to enhance their well-being and find a fitness “happy place”. We are individuals, with varying degrees of flexibility, strength, ability, and movement. I hope to motivate others to move and breathe.
I am married and have two teenage children. I am very proud to work at Marshfield Clinic Health System/Security Health Plan. I also teach strength-training classes at MCHS YMCA.

My start in yoga was rough. I was terrified to go to a class in which I did not know anything about. I did not know know any of the postures and did not look anything like a typical "yogi".
I encourage people to try yoga for at least 5 classes. Being able to come to a class where you are asked not to think, just move and breathe is life-changing and empowering. My goal is to have the studio be a place where people can go and just be themselves: without expectations, judgments, or competition.
Cynthia Nelson
Cynthia Nelson is sweet free-spirit whose classes are powerful, playful and heartfelt! She enjoys backpacking and hiking, random yoga poses, and singing along to Fleetwood Mac. She loves yoga because it makes her feel good and allows her to nachos and cheese. Just kidding, but mostly serious. Yoga has healed her from the inside out. She credits her recovery process from a life long battle with an eating disorder to Yoga. Her favorite place is anywhere people are gathered to sweat, breathe and break boundaries together. She is a certified 200hr teacher. When not teaching yoga, she is a registered nurse and a mom to 3 beautiful boys.
Teri Heinzen
I am carefree, and have a fly by the seat of my pants mentality for life! I enjoy running, biking, and anything that has to do with water and my children. Yoga has transformed my life so profoundly, and has helped me through many of life's pitfalls and challenges.
I received by RYT200 from Swastha Yoga in Costa Rica.
While I am not teaching yoga, I am a licensed social worker with the Medford School District, and a mom to very spunky children.
Emily Clark
mily Clark began her yoga journey when she read online how yoga can be beneficial for stress relief. After attending her first yoga class she was hooked on the benefits physically, emotionally and spiritually yoga had to offer. Emily was a dedicated yoga student for seven years when the opportunity arrived to become a Yoga Instructor. In June 2018 Emily became an YTT 200 Instructor in addition to her career in Speech-Language Pathology. Emily’s classes focus on breath work, mindfulness and creating power in your own body. She also incorporates fun music, humor and challenging poses to each class.
Vinyasa, also called flow because of the smooth way that the poses run together, is a total body workout. We won't linger long in each pose and the pace can be quick, so be prepared for your heart rate to rise.
Get your flow on in this dynamic practice that links movement and breathe together in continuous movement that stimulates your core muscles, tones your arms and fires your engine.
Modifications provided for all levels but plan on a vigorous yoga practice. We will work, breathe deeply and hopefully break a sweat. Savasana/progressive relaxation is the reward in the end.
